After its European premiere in Venice, Jurrungu Ngan-ga continued on to Tanz im August Berlin and International Summer Festival Kampnagel Hamburg.
Over three weeks in August, Jurrungu Ngan-ga was presented to enthusiastic audiences across two venues including an artist talk with one of our cultural dramaturgs, Behrouz Boochani.
Towards the end of our season in Hamburg we hit over 30 performances of Jurrungu Ngan-ga presented across nine venues — an incredible milestone for the company to celebrate following the show’s past challenges with pandemic lockdowns and state border closures.
Following nearly four weeks abroad our team will return home for a much needed rest before our next tour of our solo performance Gudirr Gudirr to Melbourne and Adelaide.
