At the start of this year we were excited to take Marrugeku around the world with international presentations in Colombia, France and Germany. As COVID-19 rapidly developed we were forced to cancel our April presentation of Cut The Sky at Ibero-American Theater Festival in Bogotá, Colombia, our June presentation of Le Dernier Appel / The Last Cry at Théâtre National de Chaillot in Paris, France and postpone the world premiere of our new work Jurrungu Ngan-ga at Kampnagel, Hamburg and Darwin Festival. While we’re gutted to not be reaching our live audiences we’ll be sharing links to full length videos of our cancelled performances as the dates that ‘would have been’ roll past.
